OpenAI released a new update for all accounts.
Major changes have been made, including:
- The ability to customize your own GPT model
- New button layouts

The new ChatGPT is here
Shortly, you can now use ChatGPT to make your own model, browse the internet, analyze data, and generate images. The whole website has been rebranded as well.
Design-wise, the iOS & Android app remains the same.
1. GPTs
With GPTs, you can now create your own ChatGPT model.
Note: You need to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus to create GPT models.
Free users don’t have this feature.

Start a new GPT model right now: chat.openai.com/gpts/editor
2. Features
Go to the chat.openai.com website, and you’ll see a new window.
This informs you about the new update:
In ChatGPT, you can now do the following:
- Use the AI to browse the internet
- Upload documents in order to Analyze Data
- Generate images with the power of DALL-E 3
This update rolled out on November 10th, 2023 for all accounts.
Whether you’re a free user or a ChatGPT Plus Subscriber, you now have all of these features.
3. Design
The app is very similar to the old format.
- The side-bar is now completely black
- The chat’s background remains the same gray
- Moved: GPT-model selection buttons went from the middle of the screen to the left side
- Added: A new “Explore” button can be seen. Use that to create your own GPT model
All the settings remain the same, in the places they used to be before.
Conclusion
This ChatGPT update brings a major change to the table: the ability to build an AI.
The design looks more modern, however it isn’t the biggest attraction of the update.
